Terms & Conditions
The completed order confirmation form serves as an official order.
The quote includes two site visits (one to template and one to install). If the job requires extra site visits, there will be additional costs.
Additional charges may apply if the final job has variations from the quote.
Hob cutouts are top mounted unless, specified and quoted otherwise.
Sinks, hobs, taps and any other benchtop fittings need to be on site for templating or specifications supplied if unavailable.
The underside of mitred benchtops are finished with a white or black paint, unless otherwise specified.
Quotes are based on easy access for installation. The need for a hiab will be determined at template, you will be advised of this and it will be an additional charge.
Colour / Pattern
Veined and patterned colours may not align across joins, please ensure your client understands this. Vein matching is at the discretion of The Stone Collective and is dependent on amount of material allowed. We will always do our best to vein match waterfall ends. Join positions on the quote are not final, positions may change due to access and can be confirmed at templating. Samples are indicative of part of a slab only, we strongly encourage viewing of a full slab prior to manufacture. The Stone Collective will not be held responsible for replacement costs, if the client does not like the colour or finish once installed. Honed and Matte finishes are more susceptible to showing everyday marks and require more regular cleaning.
Unless requested prior to templating, we will cut the slabs as we think best. If you would like the opportunity to select the layout there may be additional costs and can delay your installation.
Warranty
Our workmanship is warranted for 10 years from the date of installation.
This warranty does not cover ;
– damage such as cracks/damage from physical or thermal shock, house movement or excessive weight on to the surface
– chips from impact after installation
– surfaces that have been moved from the original place of installation.
Fabrication warranty is subject to correct cabinetry installation.
Natural Stone
Clients are required to thoroughly view the slabs at the supplier, once slabs are selected these details can be passed on to The Stone Collective for a deposit to secure.
We will fabricate the stone with the understanding that the client has viewed the selected slabs and have acknowledged the quality/characteristics of the materials and happy to proceed with fabrication and installation.
Natural Stone will only be ordered once clients have viewed slabs in person, unless documented otherwise.
Damage
The Stone Collective will take all care when installing benchtops, it is possible for small damages to the paint can occur. Cost of touch ups/remedial paint work will be the client’s responsibility.
