The difference is in the detail
The edge of the stone is cut at a 45 degree angle and mitred so the stone flows down to the floor. This is a very popular feature and gives a sense of luxury to the kitchen.
Grooves are routered into the surface of the benchtop on a slight slope so that water runs to the sink. Clients generally select 4 or 5 grooves.
We can achieve any thickness of benchtop. Engineered Stone is available in 20mm slabs and we create a clashing of your desired thickness and join the two pieces at 45 degrees.
